We have lived in Italy since 2008. We raised our three children in the Castelli Romani and deeply appreciate the opportunity to live and work here. We have been married since 1996 and come from wonderful families who are based mostly in Missouri of the United States. Our families greatly impact our view of the world and our faith. We enjoy Italian coffee, Monday morning market, learning Italian culture and history, preparing and eating real Italian food, and serving our friends in Italy and beyond. Our hope is to leave behind a Biblically sound church here in the Castelli Romani.
We both grew up in Christian homes attending church several times a week. We also participated in the summer programs of our churches and that is where we both came to truly understand and believe in Jesus. We met in college while inviting other students to church. We both had grown up inviting our friends to church. As we began to pray about where to spend our life together inviting people to church, we were burdened for the people of Italy. Italy is a beautiful country of amazing people who have ample opportunity to understand religion, but many times never come to a true understanding or belief in Jesus. There was an immediate affinity in our hearts of what it is like to grow up around church but not truly know Jesus. We have dedicated our lives to helping people from various backgrounds in Italy understand and believe in the Jesus of the Bible.
City House in Grottaferrata is now open! This space serves as our office, a community friendly space to study, a place to meet with friends, and as a meeting space for our Bible studies and prayer meetings and youth events. If you would like to view this space please feel free to come by when we are open (when the green security doors are up) or schedule a meeting with us and we will give you a private tour. We LOVE our city and are looking for ways to serve the Castelli Romani through City House!
